why choose us?
we listen to you
Your orthodontic journey begins with your first visit to Invisible Orthodontics. We will start by discussing your desired outcomes from orthodontic treatment—what do you hope to achieve with orthodontics? After examining your mouth and jaws, taking photographs and x-rays (if required) we will prepare a bespoke treatment plan for you which outlines your treatment options, cost and payment plans. You can refer to this plan as you decide whether or not to embark on treatment.
a variety of options, all in the one location
Treatments ranging from outside (coloured, metal, clear) to clear aligners, surgical and adult orthodontic treatment, expansion therapy, early intervention, space maintenance, and regaining are all undertaken at the same location.
the latest technology
Newer generation, low dosage panoramic x-rays and the advanced generation iCAT-3D Cone Beam x-ray machine which produces amazing images, allows for a clear diagnosis.
no uncomfortable plaster impressions
At Invisible Orthodontics, we use advanced teeth moulding techniques (Intra oral scanner) to avoid gagging, moulding paste running all over the face. These machines take pictures of your teeth, which is then calibrated and digitized to show your teeth's current status.
personalised, one on one care
Our friendly team will explain treatment techniques, products, cost and payment plans for your orthodontic treatment journey. We enjoy explaining things to you and making sure you have all the information you need to make an informed decision. If you do have questions, please do not hesitate to write them down and bring them with you, so you don't forget.
we are committed to education and our community
Dr Vas is a university appointed lecturer. He does this work on a volunteer basis and trains students who want to become dentists, hygienists and orthodontists. He flies to Sydney (to help the university which gave him his education) and also spends time treating indigenous children at the heartland of aboriginal headquarters in Sydney.
we create healthy and attractive smiles
Some of the biggest benefits of orthodontic treatment are a more attractive smile and a healthy bite, which creates better functioning of the teeth and jaw. Straighter teeth are also much easier to clean, and a properly-aligned bite means teeth will not wear unevenly; both of these things produce better long-term health of the teeth and gums, which means the benefits of orthodontic treatment can last a lifetime.
we correct a variety of orthodontic issues
You may need braces if you experience any of the following:
- Your upper front teeth protrude over your lower teeth
- Your upper front teeth cover the majority of the lower teeth when biting (deep bite)
- Your upper front teeth sit behind or inside the lower front teeth when biting (under bite)
- Your upper and lower front teeth do not meet when biting (open bite)
- you have crowded or overlapping teeth
- The centre of your upper teeth does not align with the centre of your lower teeth
- You suck your thumb or your fingers
- You have difficulty chewing
- Your teeth are wearing unevenly or excessively
- You have gaps between your teeth
- Your lower jaw shifts to one side when biting
If any of these apply to you, then please make an assessment appointment and we will be happy to discuss your treatment options.
we provide early intervention treatment
Orthodontic treatment can begin at any age. Dr Vas prefers to have a first check-up at age 7, the age that is recommended by international orthodontic associations. Many orthodontic problems are easier to correct if detected at an early age, before jaw growth has slowed. Early treatment may mean that a patient can avoid expensive, time-consuming procedures and more serious complications in the future.
experienced professionals
At Invisible Orthodontics our goal is to serve our patients with quality care in a professional and warm environment. Dr Vas has experience treating adults, teens, and children for a variety of orthodontic needs. He is a specialist orthodontist who has mastered the skills of managing tooth movement and guiding facial development by completing an advanced education program (3 years) following dental school (5 years) and general experience as a dentist (2 years). In Australia, there are currently six dental schools that offer a master’s degree in orthodontics; each school accepts only 3-4 special trainees per year. Dr. Vas might have a lot of qualifications, but he would rather be well known for his treatment techniques and passion and care.
